The terrain is hilly, characterized by rollers, sustained climbs, and technical descents. Our Lago Maggiore Self-Guided Bike Tour is recommended for our Level 3 Riders and above. For those eager to experience every mile but mindful of their physical limits, our electric bike option offers a comfortable and enjoyable solution, however strong bike handling skills are still required. Level 4+ Riders will enjoy the extra mileage the avid route options offer.

There are a variety of non-riding options on this trip for riders who want to take the afternoon off or travel companions who want to spend little or no time in the saddle. Non-riders are welcome on a Self-Guided trip if they are staying in the same room with a riding guest. Non-riders will be offered a $500 discount from the trip price.
